This may seem like the title of an old film, but these are the sweet notions that inspired Vittorio Serluca to create his life-long dream in 1971. At first, it was a quaint, little hotel rising above the beautiful Gulf of Salerno shores, along the coastal road of Pontecagnano. Then the Serluca family grew, with the addition of two sons, Gaetano and Elio. Now grown up, the brothers have brought a new, modern style to the hotel with the help of their mother, Sira.

Today, the Hotel Olimpico is a Four-Star hotel consisting of 44 large rooms. They are quiet and comfortable with in-suite, private, bathroom facilities, air conditioning with individual temperature control, satellite-LCD TV with international channels, radio, telephone, wake up call, free high speed internet wireless system available in all rooms and the hotel's grounds, PC-data port, mini bar, safety deposit box, hairdryer, terrace with table and chairs. The hotel’s regular guests have admired the beauty of the coastline for years, and the Serlucas warm hospitality has kept them coming back again and again.

Three types of rooms: standard, superior or deluxe (upon your request beds can be King or Twin)

*Standard room___________: Located on the ground floor, these rooms are classic, and nicely decorated (renovated in 2006), with in-suite bathroom facilities. No ocean view, but all with a balcony or window that has an internal view of the patio or garden. Each room is equipped with a king-size or twin beds, 28 inch TV with international channels, free WI-FI high speed internet access, radio, table and chairs on the balcony, mini-bar, telephone facilities, wake-up call, safety deposit box, hairdryer, and electronic key access. DVD available on request for an extra charge.

*Superior room ___________: Located on the first and second floors, these rooms are elegant and nicely decorated (renovated in 2007), with in-suite bathroom facilities. Sea or garden view, all with a balcony. Each room is equipped with a king-size or twin beds, 32 inch LCD TV with international channels, radio, free WI-FI high speed internet access, PC data port, mini-bar, telephone facilities, wake-up call, table and chairs on the balcony, safety deposit box, hairdryer, sound proof walls, and electronic key access. DVD available on request for an extra charge.

*Deluxe room____________: Located on the first floor of the hotel, these rooms are large and spacious with italian modern design, and a sitting area. Garden or sea view, all with a balcony. Garden deluxe room is equipped with an umbrella, sun lounger, and table and chairs. Sea view de luxe room is equipped with table and chairs. Elegant and nicely decorated (renovated in 2008), each room has a bathtub with Jacuzzi and separate shower, a king-size or twin beds, 40 inch LCD flatscreen TV with international channels, DVD player, free WI-FI high speed internet access, mini-bar, telephone facilities, wake-up call, radio, safety deposit box, hairdryer, sound proof walls, and electronic key access.

Some rooms overlook the wonderful seascape, while others offer a beautiful view of the immense and tranquil gardens surrounding the hotel. The garden’s serene fountain is the perfect spot for quiet reflection and relaxation. There is a large, covered parking area, a new swimming pool, play area for children, bocce court, ping pong table, tennis court, high speed internet point.....all services free of charge.

Our brand new swimming pool is nestled amidst lush gardens and receives warm sunshine, as well as cool shade. At an impressive 25 meters, you can swim laps, or enjoy relaxing in our fabulous hydromassage. There is also a dedicated children’s pool section.

So that leaves just one thing……the sea. It is just 50 meters from the hotel where guests enjoy a large private beach and the use of beach umbrellas and sun-loungers, hot showers, changing rooms and the watchful presence of a lifeguard. The Hotel Olimpico is the ideal spot for quiet and comfort, as well as the the perfect place for families with children who wish to have fun and enjoy themselves.

What makes Hotel Olimpico so incredibly special is its authentic, regional cuisine, where every dish is lovingly prepared with fresh and top-quality goods.
